50 years ago, Antibiotic Resistance Alarms Went Unheeded


When Penicillin was created, it’s creator had given a warning along with the drug. At some point, bacteria would become resistant. Yet while this is happening, that our antibiotics are becoming drug resistant, we continue to rely on them. It is now predicted that as high as 30% of prescriptions of some drugs are unnecessary.
