Every two years Disney pulls out all the stop at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California with new merchandise, fan experiences, and—most relevant to the crowd who can’t make it out to enjoy the event first-hand—big announcements. On Saturday morning Disney chiefs Alan Horn, and Disney Pictures’ Sean Bailey took the stage to tease upcoming films from the Disney stable including the first trailer for Ava DuVernay’s A Wrinkle in Time.
Joining DuVernay on stage were members of the cast: Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon), Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling) Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey), Meg Murray (Storm Reid), and Mr. Murray (Chris Pine) who debuted the film’s trailer.
