Ricky Martin has officially married his partner Jwan Yosef.
Speaking on the red carpet for The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, the Puerto Rican singer revealed the couple had tied the knot in a secret ceremony.
Ricky has twin sons born to a surrogate mother, who he raises with Jwan, after coming out in an emotional letter to fans in 2010, despite many years of denials and speculation.
“We exchanged vows,” the 46-year-old said, “and we’ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything.”
Married life, he added, “feels amazing.”
“I can’t introduce him as my fiancé,” he told reporters. “He’s my husband. He’s my man.”
The singer had previously told Andy Cohen Live that he wanted a three-day extravaganza for his wedding day.
While the wedding itself was a low-key affair, Ricky admits he will still go ahead with the full party later in 2018.
“We’re doing a heavy party in a couple of months,” he explained. “I’ll let you know.”
It’s not clear where the couple married, as they had fear they would face challenges around Donald Trump’s ban on people from six majority-Muslim countries.
