LeBron James is taking his talents to Hollywood, and no, it does not mean he is signing with the Lakers (at least not yet).
The three-time NBA champion and his business partner, Maverick Carter, will produce a revival of the “House Party” comedy movie franchise.
“This is definitely not a reboot. It’s an entirely new look for a classic movie,” James told The Hollywood Reporter. “Everyone I grew up with loved ‘House Party.’ To partner with this creative team to bring a new ‘House Party’ to a new generation is unbelievable.”
The project is another instance of James, 33, expanding his brand and interest into the entertainment industry.
