After Enduring Family Loss, Woman Found Healing By Giving Away Pay-It-Forward Ice Cream

For most of the year, Stacey Achterhoff is a teacher for homeless children – but in the summertime, she hops on her tricycle-cart and becomes her sweet alter ego: Mrs.
Mrs.
Delicious specializes in giving away ice cream that was paid for by someone else.
For the last three summers, Mrs.
Delicious has made a name for herself in Duluth, Minnesota by giving away hundreds of ice cream cones and popsicles that were bought by community members who want to pay it forward to their neighbors – many of whom want to pay it forward in honor of someone else, much like Achterhoff.
“I’m a person of faith, and what do you do when terrible things happen?
You have to figure out where the light is,” she said.

Saudade: the untranslatable word for the presence of absence

Saudade: the untranslatable word for the presence of absence

‘I pray for friends I’ve lost, family, like my uncle who passed away,’ Bruno told me. ‘When I’m here, I feel well,’ he said.
Bruno told me there was something special about the place, that it left him with a ‘sensation’.
That is because ‘it is good to have saudades’ (é bom ter saudades), as the common saying goes.
There is a certain pleasure in the feeling.
The language of saudade is evocative.
Most scholars suggest that this form derives from the Latin solitate (solitude), and was possibly later influenced by the Portuguese word saudar (‘to greet’) before arriving at the present form.
In ‘The Making of Saudade’ (2000), the Portuguese anthropologist João Leal writes that Saudosistas sought to restore the ‘lost splendour’ of Portuguese cultural life, ‘replacing foreign influences – held to be responsible for the decline of the country since the Age of Discoveries – with a cult of “Portuguese things”, reflecting the true “Portuguese soul”.’
This would also mean that emotion words such as nostalgia or saudade take on different affective shadings in different places and historical periods.
In 1940, the Brazilian writer Osvaldo Orico described Brazilian saudade as ‘more happy than sad, more imagination than pain … a saudade that does not cry, but sings’.

E-Waste Tips: What To Do With Old Tech Gadgets

Recycle Your Electronics Almost every city or town has one or two days a year where they accept all types of electronic devices for recycling.
If you don’t want to wait, look for a rechargeable battery and recycling program in your area.
Call2Recycle is a great option because it accepts batteries and old cell phones.
This is why they offer large recycling programs where they’ll take back your outdated or broken electronic device and recycle it for you.
List them on Electronic-Based Apps There are several quality apps available that allow you to list your electronic devices free of charge and sell them to people who will use them.
Certain apps are for face-to-face meetings and restrict you more to your local area while others will generate shipping labels for you, so you don’t have to worry about trying to send your items to the buyers.
eBay lets you list to sell or auction, and you send the item to the buyer once they purchase it.
Take Part in an Electronics Drive If you have a lot of older electronics laying around, chances are your family, coworkers, and friends do as well.
If they are, have them repair and call your local schools to see if they have students who could use your old electronics.
Done right, these nine e-waste tips will help you get rid of your old electronics in a safe and effective manner.

Here’s How Mouse and Keyboard Support Will Work on the Xbox One

Here’s How Mouse and Keyboard Support Will Work on the Xbox One

Microsoft just rolled out mouse and keyboard support for the Xbox One as to members of the Alpha Ring.
This should arrive for everyone in November, 2018, as it’s part of the “1811” system update currently being tested.
Instead, here’s how Microsoft says it will work: With this new input support at the platform level, developers can now build mouse and keyboard support in their games if and how they choose.
It’s important to note that mouse and keyboard support for games is added on a title-by-title basis, entirely at developers’ discretion.
Each development team knows their titles best and we support them in creating the right experience for their games as they see fit, to ensure an optimal and fair gaming experience.
It’s up to each game’s developer.
We’ll see whether Xbox One game developers are more interested in mouse and keyboard input.
Microsoft is also teasing Razer mice and keyboards designed exclusively for the Xbox, which will also be announced at Microsoft’s X018 event on November 10.
More games supporting keyboard input will also be announced at X018, so stay tuned for more.

Denmark May Begin Labeling Food According to Its Effect on Climate Change

Denmark May Begin Labeling Food According to Its Effect on Climate Change

The government of Denmark may soon require grocery stores and packaging manufacturers to grade foods based on their environmental impact.
The ambitious initiative would calculate the grade based on the amount of transportation the product required to reach the shelves, as well as how much water was used to make the product, which pesticides were used on its exterior, the environmental impact of the packaging, and the amount of greenhouse gas emissions that were created as a byproduct of the food.
Legislators admit that the task will be difficult based on the challenge of grading the products in contrast with their nutritious content as well.
Ideally, the labels would encourage consumers to shop more responsibly and urge food companies to use more sustainable practices for their products.
RELATED: When Blueberries and Grapes Are Combined, a Dramatic Decline in Memory Loss and Aging – Study The Danish Agriculture and Food Council has reportedly been working with the European Union for the last ten years to develop an efficient labeling system, although lawmakers finally offered a formal proposal for the labeling system last week.
“Our goal is to develop an accurate label.
We must include every piece of information so products like plant-based substitutes for ground meat has information on the climate impact of the soy in the product which is produced in South America,” Morten Høyer, director of the council, told CNN.
LOOK: No More Cages – New Animal Cracker Packaging Sets Mascots Free to Represent the Changing Times “Things like these are difficult to calculate, so we have a worthy challenge ahead of us before we can say with certainty that we have the right solution for a climate label.” “Everyone knows that food production influences the climate, but if the rest of the world produced food the way we do in Denmark, the world would be a better place,” adds Høyer.

3M Birthplace Museum

3M Birthplace Museum

In 1902, a business venture was born based on a serious blunder, which then started a tradition of profitable mistakes, including the Post-it note.
It all began in Minnesota, in the former law office of John Dwan, where the five original 3M partners signed incorporation papers for a small mining interest that would grow to become an enormous multinational corporation.
Top Places in Minnesota See more things to do in Minnesota » The operation started out with corundum, which the enterprising prospectors were extracting from the western shores of Lake Superior to be sold to the sandpaper industry.
A fairly obvious problem manifested when the lawyer, doctor, two railroad executives, and meat market owner realized that their partnership did not include a geologist.
What they thought was corundum, the extremely hard substance that is the basis of rubies and sapphires, was actually the much softer anorthosite.
Scientists have long debated the mystery of how anorthosite is made, and businesses have long debated the mystery of how to make it profitable.
Undeterred, the 3Mers continued to raise capital and look for a use for their quarry.
One of the early visionaries behind 3M’s success was the legendary William L. McKnight, who was hired as an assistant bookkeeper in 1907 after a series of missteps.
After years of sticking with the problem, which was not part of his regular research duties, he finally developed a tape that would not damage auto-body paint.
Ten years after its introduction, Scotch masking tape was generating over $1.5 million in sales.

Eight-Year-Old Girl Skipping Stones on a Lake Pulls out Viking Sword

Eight-Year-Old Girl Skipping Stones on a Lake Pulls out Viking Sword

A Swedish-American girl named Saga Vanecek – her real name – had only moved to Sweden a year ago.
She and her family had previously lived in Minnesota and are even big Vikings fans.
While vacationing at Vidöstern Lake in Tånnö, Småland, Saga’s father, Andy, asked her to go grab him a buoy.
The lake level was lower than usual due to drought, and he wanted to warn area boaters.
Andy, according to The Local, was growing frustrated with his easily distracted daughter.
“I was getting impatient because the World Cup game was about to start!” Then Saga found a stick.
I held it up in the air and I said ‘Daddy, I found a sword!’ When he saw that it bent and was rusty, he came running up and took it.” Andy decided to take it to his neighbor who had some practice in archaeology.
How did the sword get in the lake?
However, she says her future includes a career as a doctor, veterinarian or actress in Paris.
It’s destiny, after all.

The system is remotely controlled and outfitted with two cameras.
The foundation published a video detailing how it works. “That plastic is still going to be there in one year.
Although some have criticized the foundation’s first-of-its-kind technology, Slat said the only way to know whether it’s effective is to test this first system at full scale.
Our first system should be regarded as a beta system, allowing us to eliminate the last remaining uncertainties before scaling up.”

An ancient child’s ‘vampire burial’ included steps to prevent resurrection

An ancient child’s ‘vampire burial’ included steps to prevent resurrection

In one grave lay a roughly 10-year-old child, possibly the victim of malaria, with a stone inserted in his or her mouth.
That practice was part of a funeral ritual intended to prevent the youngster from rising zombielike and spreading disease to the living, researchers say.
The discovery of this “vampire burial” occurred at the Cemetery of the Babies, a mid-fifth century site in central Italy.
Classical archaeologist David Pickel of Stanford University led the excavation.
The results, announced in an Oct. 11 statement, will be presented in January at the Archaeological Institute of America’s annual meeting in San Diego.
Of more than 50 previously excavated graves at the cemetery, the oldest remains were those of a 3-year-old child.
Bones of several kids buried there have yielded DNA of malaria parasites.
Many infants and toddlers interred at the Italian site were accompanied by objects associated with beliefs in witchcraft and magic, such as raven talons and toad bones.
Stones had been placed on the hands and feet of the 3-year-old child, another practice used by various cultures to keep the dead in their graves.
Such rituals attempted to keep whatever evil people thought had fatally contaminated bodies from getting out, says classical archaeologist David Soren of the University of Arizona in Tucson, who participated in the new dig.

If you don’t know where the bat is, start your search during the daytime, when the bat is asleep and easier to find and catch.
[2] 3 Put on heavy, protective clothing.
Your hands will be the most exposed to the bat, so put on thick leather gloves, or work gloves of a similarly strong material.

There’s a Rumor Nintendo Might Launch the N64 Classic Mini Soon

Nintendo launched the NES Classic in 2016, and then the SNES Classic last year, so it only makes sense that 2018 would bring us the N64 Classic Mini, right?
Whether it’s true or not, we’re already excited.
We have no idea if these images are real or fake, but over on Twitter the Nacho & Pistacho account claims that they have real leaked images showing a Nintendo 64 Classic Mini: @VideojuegosGAME me han llegado estas imagenes de una posible filtracion de #N64Mini, ¿podriais decirnos si sabeis algo al respecto?
¿¿¿Y se puede reservar ya???
pic.twitter.com/ArCOXfvnzY — Nacho & Pistacho (@nachoypistacho) October 13, 2018 So far nobody has been able to confirm anything, and a lot of commenters are saying that the NINTENDO font should be grey instead of white as shown in the leaked images.
For instance, here’s a stock picture of the normal Nintendo 64: There is also some debate about how the controllers connect, with people saying that it’s too fragile… but it doesn’t look much more fragile than my SNES Classic, which has a tiny piece of very breakable plastic holding the front cover on.
And the controller ports look exactly the same.
There’s also the fact that last year, Nintendo filed a trademark for what appears to be a new n64 controller, which means it’s very likely that even if these renders aren’t the real thing, the N64 Classic Mini is going to show up at some point soon one way or the other.
Now the main question is whether 8BitDo is going to release a wireless N64 style controller, because I’m going to need one of those.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X Feature Huge Screens and Monster Specs

Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X Feature Huge Screens and Monster Specs

Despite a massive presence in China and Europe, Huawei is still seen as an also-ran by some.
The company is hoping to change that with its latest flagship, the Mate 20 Pro.
Around back are no less than three camera sensors: an 8-megapixel zoom lens, a 20-megapixel super wide-angle, and a standard lens with 40 megapixels.
(That’s not a typo: forty megapixels.)
Of course, there’s tons of stuff in Huawei’s software for better photos and access to apps, including such wild features as a 3D food scanner that recognizes food types and estimates calories based on volume.
It’s running on top of Android 9.0 Pie right at launch, a first for a non-Google device.
The monster specs include a monster price: the Mate 20 Pro will sell for 1050 Euro in its standard 6GB RAM/128 ROM starting today.
Then check out the even more massive Mate 20 X.
It uses most of the same specs as the Mate 20 Pro, but pairs them with a 7.2-inch screen, a smaller “teardrop” screen notch, a 5000mAh battery, and a vapor cooling chamber attached to the processor.
Huawei wants you to compare this with the Nintendo Switch and its smaller, lower-res screen, but it’s notably missing a secondary side with A/B/X/Y face buttons, which you get on alternatives like the ROG Phone’s third-party controller.

The Dalai Lama on Science and Spirituality

The Dalai Lama on Science and Spirituality

“The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both,” Carl Sagan wrote in his final book nearly four centuries after Galileo made the same point in his famous letter defending his life.
A recent Pioneer Works conversation about science and spirituality with physicist Alan Lightman, based on his immensely insightful and poetic book on the subject, reminded me of a different, older conversation contemplating the relationship between these two hallmarks of the human experience.
The wide-ranging conversation, the synthesis of which was later published as Destructive Emotions: A Scientific Dialogue with the Dalai Lama (public library), aimed to bridge ancient spiritual practices and modern findings in biology, cognitive science, psychology, and neuroscience in an effort to reveal the human mind’s capacity to transcend its own fundamental flaws.
With an eye to the complementarity between Buddhism, which has been exploring the human mind for millennia, and Western science, whose neuroscience and psychology are barely a century and a half old, the Dalai Lama writes in the preface to the book: Buddhism and science are not conflicting perspectives on the world, but rather differing approaches to the same end: seeking the truth.
While the purposes of science may differ from those of Buddhism, both ways of searching for truth expand our knowledge and understanding.
We should always adopt a view that accords with the facts.
If upon investigation we find that there is reason and proof for a point, then we should accept it.
However, a clear distinction should be made between what is not found by science and what is found to be nonexistentby science.
An example is consciousness itself.
The purpose of spirituality in a secular world, he argues, is that of a moral compass that tempers the destructive emotions that so often accompany our modern materialism.

People who have a good sense of smell are also good navigators

People who have a good sense of smell are also good navigators

We may truly be led by our noses.
A sense of smell and a sense of navigation are linked in our brains, scientists propose.
Neuroscientist Louisa Dahmani and colleagues asked 57 young people to navigate through a virtual town on a computer screen before being tested on how well they could get from one spot to another.
The same young people’s smelling abilities were also scrutinized.
After a sniff of one of 40 odor-infused felt-tip pens, participants were shown four words on a screen and asked to choose the one that matched the smell.
On these two seemingly different tasks, the superior smellers and the superior navigators turned out to be one and the same, the team found.
Scientists linked both skills to certain spots in the brain: The left orbitofrontal cortex and the right hippocampus were both bigger in the better smellers and better navigators.
While the orbitofrontal cortex has been tied to smelling, the hippocampus is known to be involved in both smelling and navigation.
A separate group of 9 people who had damaged orbitofrontal cortices had more trouble with navigation and smell identification, the researchers report October 16 in Nature Communications.
Dahmani, who’s now at Harvard University, did the work while she was at McGill University in Montreal.

Although people can use cash – or even transfer money via mobile phone – financial services such as PayPal and online shops such as eBay and Etsy are not accessible.

“One is financial inclusion, allowing people to bring their products to market.

Major supermarket scraps ‘best before’ dates from fruit and vegetable lines

Labels will be scrapped from 116 Tesco produce lines in a bid to reduce food waste UK supermarket chain Tesco is set to remove more than 100 further best before dates from its fruit and vegetables, in response to customers saying it helps them reduce food waste.
Best before dates will be scrapped on 116 products including apples, oranges, cabbages and asparagus.
This follows the supermarket removing the guidance dates from around 70 fruit and veg lines earlier in 2018.
Support Positive News Research commissioned by the supermarket reveals that 69 per cent of customers believe scrapping best before dates is a good idea.
More than half (53 per cent) of shoppers said they thought scrapping best before dates made a difference, helping them keep perfectly good food for longer.
Compulsory ‘use by’ labels have to be applied to foods such as meat, fish, eggs and dairy products that carry a safety risk if eaten after that date.
Tesco’s head of food waste reduction Mark Little said: “Removing best before dates is our way of making it easier for customers to reduce food waste at home and save money in the process.
It’s simply not right that food goes to waste and we’re going to do everything we can to help.” Removing best before dates is our way of making it easier for customers to reduce food waste at home Earlier this month, CEO Dave Lewis called for global transparency on food waste as 27 of Tesco’s biggest suppliers published their food waste data for the first time.
The retailer says it is now more than 70 per cent of the way towards its goal that no food that’s safe for human consumption goes to waste from its UK stores and distribution centres.
£13bn of edible food is thrown away from homes every year, according to the government’s waste advisory body, Wrap.

17 Things You Need to Know to Achieve Career Success at Any Age

And now in my so-called retirement, I am writing books that are required reading in business schools.
I just understood early on that “success” is a mindset, and that there are a few necessary tactics to being successful.
Start the day doing the “Tough Things First” I published my first book – Tough Things First – in my late 70s.
Don’t even think about task #2 until task #1 is finished.
The young can learn the wisdom of their elders, and the old can always find something new to try.
You don’t need to first acquire a life time of wisdom – you can get that on the fly from mentors.
He is right, and since you have a personal brand, you cannot be successful in life if you are not trusted.
Trustworthy people never do these 10 things.
If your goal was good enough to start working toward, it is good enough to keep working toward, despite setbacks, despite complications.
When you adopt the mindset of “what do I need to do so that they can succeed in the mission I have set forth”, you change the way you and they work together.

5 Interview Mistakes That Can Get In The Way of Your Dream Job

5 Interview Mistakes That Can Get In The Way of Your Dream Job

Not keeping eye contact: Shows dishonesty People hire people they like.
You don’t want to go there as you have no idea if there are any relations with the new company and your previous employer.
For example, it is a good idea to pause before answering serious questions.
Not being prepared to ask questions or not knowing the business: Shows no interest in the position When it comes to being prepared for the job interview, Linda Pell, HR specialist says: “Hiring professionals expect you to conduct a research of the company.
Anyone who hasn’t obviously completed some basic research on the company will be considered unprepared and unprofessional.” Research is also critical for preparing a list of thoughtful questions.
If you don’t ask good questions, you don’t really appear to be interested and prepared.
Use the following simple steps to begin your research process: Perusing Company Publications – Perhaps the easiest place to start the research process is on the website of the company.
Utilizing Contacts and Employee Reviews – Contacting current and former employees to learn more about the unique culture and professional environment of the business can help give you an edge over other candidates.
Ultimately, in-depth research is one of the most productive ways to ensure that you leave a good impression with a job recruiter.
Have your resume, be prepared, but most importantly — be you.

Officially Sign Off on Divorce

Officially Sign Off on Divorce

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have pulled the trigger on their divorce by signing the final docs that will make them single again … TMZ has learned.
Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ, they have put their John Hancocks on the papers that will make their divorce final.
We’re told they will get joint custody of their 6-year-old son Jack.
As for the property settlement, as we reported, they have a prenup.
Anna’s lawyer, Disso Queen Laura Wasser, asked the judge Monday to remove the case from the court system and have a private judge handle the case instead.
The point — there’s a huge backlog in the court system and it takes forever to get a final divorce judgment.
A private judge speeds things along.
TMZ broke the story … Wasser did the same thing for Ben Affleck and Jen Garner … asking the court to allow a private judge to take over the case.

Amy Schumer says she feels ‘really bad’ for ‘hot’ women

Amy Schumer says she feels ‘really bad’ for ‘hot’ women

Amy Schumer revealed she wouldn’t want to be an “ounce more attractive” and feels bad for women who are “hot.” “That’s the truth.
Not an ounce,” she said on Monday’s episode of Dax Shepard‘s podcast, “Armchair Expert.” The “I Feel Pretty” star continued, “Being a woman sucks.
It’s very difficult, and something else that we’ve all realized is like, we are sexualized like, all the time – even when it seems crazy – so I feel really bad for these girls who are so hot because guys can’t handle it.
You can’t have a conversation.
Everything’s gonna skew sexual and you’re gonna be treated differently.
And honestly, I actually feel really bad for them.” The comedian, who constantly advocates for self-confidence and self-love, also touched on the flip side.
“But then there’s also women that feel so unattractive that they’re just invisible…it just sucks anyway,” she said.
And while Schumer and Shepard both agreed that its a lose-lose situation for women, in regards to her own appearance she said, “I would not change a f–king thing.” Schumer also took a moment to discuss how women are constantly afraid they are in danger of getting sexually assaulted.
“Women are mostly scared of violence because, you know, one in six women reports being sexually assaulted but really it’s one in three women, so we’re not even like, ‘is this going to happen?’ We’re like, ‘when? ‘” she said, referring to being sexually assaulted.

Explore the history of blood from vampires to the ‘Menstrual Man’

Explore the history of blood from vampires to the ‘Menstrual Man’

Nine Pints Rose George Metropolitan Books, $30 The title of journalist Rose George’s new book, Nine Pints, quantifies how much blood George has flowing through her body.
This act of generosity is an appropriate kickoff to the bounty of knowledge and insight that George shares about blood as she mines its cultural and scientific history.
Chief among the legends are vampires, which, naturally, make an appearance in the book.
But in George’s hands, ancient tales of purported blood sucking lead readers to modern-day experiments examining whether blood can truly bring youth and health when transferred to the old or sick (SN: 12/27/14, p. 21).
George’s bright writing and companionable tone, along with a healthy dose of skepticism, make her a welcome guide to the past and the future of this giver and taker of life.
The cast of characters includes Welsh leech handlers; HIV patients and clinic staff in South Africa; the British physiologist Janet Vaughan, who was instrumental in establishing blood transfusion stations during World War II; and Arunachalam Muruganantham, the “Menstrual Man” who devised a low-cost method to produce sanitary pads in India in the 2000s.
Some of the chapters will make your blood boil.
One recounts the corporate and government malfeasance in the 1980s that led to tainted plasma (the liquid component of blood) continuing to be used after officials knew the supplies could transmit hepatitis and HIV, and the patients who died as a result.
Another chapter describes the shame and shoddy science that still surrounds menstruation, from girls in Nepal who are forbidden to have contact with their families when they are bleeding to the ridiculous origin of the claim that menstruating women should not go camping in bear country.
George says early on in Nine Pints that she is comforted to know that her blood is “moving around my body at any time at two to three miles per hour, taking oxygen to my organs and tissues, removing carbon dioxide, keeping my heart going, keeping me going.” Blood is unassuming, doing its duty without much fanfare.

Marie Antoinette’s Jewels For Sale

Marie Antoinette’s Jewels For Sale

Tuesday is the 225th anniversary of the beheading of Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution, nine months after her husband King Louis XVI.
The monarchy had been teetering on the edge of disaster for quite some time.
In fact, the royal family had been making preparations to escape France for years.
“The jewels made it, but unfortunately, she did not,” Daniela Mascetti, chairman of jewelry at Sotheby’s Europe tells The Post.
Three months later, the royal family was captured on their way out of France and imprisoned.
Only one of them — the teenage princess, Marie-Thérèse — would ever leave the country again.
Marie-Thérèse recovered her mother’s jewels and never had them altered or reset.
Now the collection is on tour, and in New York until October 16.

How to Remove Old Boarding Passes From Apple Wallet

How to Remove Old Boarding Passes From Apple Wallet

Digital boarding passes are great at the airport, letting you skip the long lines at the check-in and go straight through security.
But, once you’ve added a boarding pass to Apple Wallet, it’s there forever—until you remove it.
To remove boarding passes, launch the “Wallet” app on your iPhone.
You have to use the Wallet app.
Tap the minus sign or “-” button to the left of a pass and then tap “Delete” to remove it.
Tap a pass in the Wallet app and tap the “…” menu button at the bottom right corner of the pass.
Tap “Remove Pass” to remove the pass from your Wallet.
If you accidentally remove a boarding pass you still need, that’s fine—you can open the airline’s app on your iPhone and add it to Apple Wallet again.
All the airline apps we’ve used show the boarding pass within the app itself, too.
We think Apple should provide a way to delete expired boarding passes automatically.

A Hacker Is Breaking Into People’s Routers And Patching Them So They Can’t Be Abused By Other Hackers

A hacker is breaking into people’s routers and making changes to their settings to prevent abuse by cyber-criminals.
The internet vigilante, who goes by “Alexey”, claims to have disinfected over 100,000 MikroTik routers already.
He boasts about his hobby on a Russian blogging platform. “I added firewall rules that blocked access to the router from outside the local network,” Alexey said. “In the comments, I wrote information about the vulnerability and left the address of the @router_os Telegram channel, where it was possible for them to ask questions.”
Alexy says he’s been only fixing MikroTik routers that have a vulnerability that came to light earlier this year.
Security researcher Troy Mursch told ZDNet that over 420,000 MikroTik routers currently connected to the internet show signs they’ve been infected with cryptocurrency-mining scripts.
But technically speaking, Alexey is on the wrong side of the law.
Despite his good intentions, it is illegal to access another person’s equipment without consent.
