Ted Cruz bashes San Antonio City Council for its airport Chick-fil-A ban

A decision by the City Council to bar Chik-fil-A from opening a restaurant at San Antonio International Airport is drawing criticism from Sen. Ted Cruz.

“Ridiculous,” Cruz tweeted Friday, with a link to a story about the vote. “The details of this story are even worse,” he followed up Saturday, tweeting a link to another story. “San Antonio City Council voted to ban @ChickfilA from the airport bc the company gave to…the Fellowship of Christian Athletes & the Salvation Army?!?

“That’s ridiculous. And not Texas,” he wrote, along with the hashtag #LeftistIntolerance.
