The USNS hospital ship arrived in all its glory, giving much need comfort to New Yorkers as the White House’s coronavirus coordinator warned that the pandemic could kill as many as 200,000 Americans in even a best-case scenario as state officials intensified their stay-at-home directives — further erasing any hope that the country would have a speedy recovery from the global health crisis.
Meanwhile much to many New York City residents dismay. Doves of non-social distancing residents crowded the West Side Highway in NYC to see the ship pulling into the pier.
Do they not know what #StayAtHome and be safe means in relationship to flattening the curve?
