Over the past few days, a new IG account has popped up that influencers, artists, and medical experts been using their platforms to spread like wildfire, promising to do just what people have been waiting for.
The #ImMakingADifference Movement
So, what is this account and movement that creators and experts across the country are pushing?
The Instagram bio reads,
“Know the truth about Coronavirus. We are doctors, volunteers, creators, and medical experts teaming up to share fact-checked, scientific information.”
The content itself is a mix of facts dispelling myths around coronavirus, and videos of these creators and experts themselves delivering the messages and real facts the world and their mostly gen z comprised audiences need to hear.
Influencers like Erika Costell, Carly Incontro, content creators like Scotty Sire Matt King, and health experts like Dr. Vanessa Kerry are just a few of the first action-takers in this new community.

The core message in all of these posts are similar, yet incredibly clear:
STAY HOME.
It’s crucial that the general public of America, especially the younger demographic fully appreciates this message and begins to act upon it immediately.
These creators are taking matters into their own hands, by recognizing the power that their voice has, especially considering their audience.
Only 48 hours later since inception, the account has grown to nearly 5k followers, with the videos alone racking up over 76,000 views with no signs of stopping anytime soon.
